I am pleased to announce the creation of a new open-access, on-line journal called ‘Open Anthropological Research’ published by De Gruyters. With this announcement I seek contributions, and possibly a special issue, which explore all aspects of legal anthropology/ anthropology of law. Contributions should adopt ethnographic research methods and be written in English.
Open Anthropological Research is a peer-reviewed, open access journal, which means that contributions can easily achieve worldwide readership. The papers accepted for publication are posted on the website promptly, without the need to wait for the publication of the whole volume. We invite researchers, academics, practitioners, and educators to submit proposals for thematic issues/articles dealing with a broad range of social, cultural, linguistic and biological anthropology.
Authors of Open Anthropological Research benefit from:
- no article submission or article processing charges (APCs) in 2020
- transparent, comprehensive and fast peer review
- efficient fast-track publication
- worldwide dissemination and accessibility of articles
- promotion of each published article
- free language-correction services for authors from non-English speaking region
- secure archiving by De Gruyter and the independent archiving service Portico
Queries can be directed to me and/or to the Managing Editor.
Yours,
John R Campbell
